As one of the first projects of Historic Savannah Foundation Lincoln Street Initiative, and partnering with HGTV’s Restore America and The National Trust for Historic Preservation, the six unit apartment building had to be stabilized. The building had suffered fire damage and had remained vacant for some time. After stabilization a complete renovation was undertaken. The finished project has served as a catalyst to new development in the Thomas Square neighborhood, including construction of three new homes on what was a vacant lot directly across from the site.
