"Architecture is an art of imagination,

an art built on memory and invention,

a dialogue with the past carried on in the present

with the future in mind."

Ramsay Sherrill Architect's commitment to Historic Preservation extends to their decision to relocate to the ground floor of the historic Battersby-Hartridge House.  The house was built in 1848 by Andrew Low's partner in the cotton business, William Battersby.  The design of the house features a side porch entrance similar to houses seen in Barbados.  The garden of the house is the oldest in Savannah retaining its original plan and design.
